 | Goal-oriented Programs on Support of Indigenous Representatives of the North in Krasnoyarsk Krai |
 On 20 December 2007 legislative session at the second reading adopted two krai goal-oriented programs aimed at Northern small indigenous peoples development and control of the state guarantees for persons moving from the North to territories with better climatic conditions.
"Small Indigenous Peoples of the North" program of 2008 is aimed to guarantee the national assistance of indigenous representatives of the North with the traditional way of life, methods of management and trades. The program items are to protect indigenous environment and traditional living activities of peoples of the North. The program goals are:
- support of social security of northern representatives with the traditional way of life, methods of management and trades;
- improving of their education attainment and vocational training;
- support and development of national enterprise;
- assurances of health;
- revival of national culture.
