 Information Center of Small-Numbered Indigenous Peoples is Established in Tyva

LIENIP NewsSocially-significant project “Creation of Network of Information Centers for Consultant Services to Organizations and Communities of Small-Numbered Indigenous Peoples” began work since February 2010. The project is implemented by interregional public organization “L'auravetl'an Information and Education Network of Indigenous Peoples” with financial support of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
Tatyana Demkina is a project executor in Tyva Republic.
L'auravetl'an Information and Education Network of Indigenous Peoples is in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. It has regional offices and information centers in Karelian Republic, Altai Republic, Khakass Republic, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Altai Krai and Tyva Republic. Tatyana Demkina is an official representative of this organization in Tyva Republic. At last an information center of small-numbered indigenous peoples is established in Tyva Republic.
Within the bounds of the project Tuvinians-Todjins, representatives of indigenous population of Tyva Republic, will be advised and provided with informational support. They will be assisted in registration of constituent documents of business entities (communities of small-numbered indigenous peoples), in accounting report and tax accounts. They will also equip persons interested with computer skills.
During implementation of the project all persons concerned will be able to take part in the seminar aimed at rise of organizational potential and competitiveness of local organizations and communities of Tyva Republic by means of development of their economically and socially oriented projects.
