Льыоравэтльан - Kuzbass Center is Training Indigenous Representatives

From 14 September to 15 October 2007 Information Center of Indigenous Peoples of Kuzbass is carrying out its second training course “Education in the Field of Human Rights and Rights of Indigenous Peoples”.
The second group of interns includes 4 representatives of indigenous peoples of Kuzbass – Teleuts, living in Belovo town and Belovo Region. They are: Evgeny Kolchegoshev, Veronika Kolchegosheva, Yelena Tydykova, Vyachislav Kargachakov.
During the first week of training the interns of the Center study the basics of Law, general human rights and rights of indigenous peoples.
The second group of interns participated in the training seminar for indigenous peoples “The New Forest Code of the Russian Federation and Rights of Indigenous Peoples to Traditional Living” held on 24-25 September in Altai.
On 28 September along with the trainees of the Information Center of Indigenous Peoples of the Altai Republic “Birlik”, Kuzbass interns visited the meeting with the Commission on Regional Development and Local Government of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation in the Government of the Altai Republic.
